THE PROCESS
These are two different charges on two different schedules, and neither is optional once you're live. Here's exactly how each one works before you commit to either.
The quiz on the homepage gives you a starting estimate, not a bill. Once we scope your actual project together by email, you're invoiced the agreed price in two milestones: half as a deposit to start, half on completion. That's the entire project cost -- nothing recurs from it.
Once your site is live, a Care plan is what actually keeps it online: hosting, backups, security updates, and monitoring. It's billed monthly, completely separate from the project invoices, and it's required -- every live site needs at least our lowest tier to cover hosting. It doesn't start automatically with your project payment; you set it up yourself once the site launches.
Answer a few questions about your project. You get an estimated price range immediately -- a starting point, not a quote.
We talk through what you actually need and land on one fixed price together. No hourly surprises, no changing the number mid-build.
You're sent a PayPal invoice for half the agreed price. That starts the build. This is a one-time charge against your specific project, not a subscription.
The remaining half is invoiced when the project is complete. Once it's paid, that's the entire project fee settled in full.
Your site needs somewhere to actually run. You pick a tier (Silver and up) and set up the monthly subscription yourself -- a separate charge, on its own schedule, starting whenever you activate it. We can't leave a finished site unhosted, so this is the one part of the process that isn't optional. See Care plans & pricing →
Set up any of these plans and the first month is free -- you're only charged starting month two.
